Meet your family's next road trip companion: this 2026 Volkswagen Taos SEL, done up in the top trim level with all the comfort and safety features that make long drives with kids actually enjoyable. The cabin is deceptively roomy for a compact SUV, with real legroom in the back for car seats, growing teenagers, or grandparents along for the ride, and a smooth automatic transmission that keeps the whole trip easy and predictable, even when you're navigating unfamiliar roads or last-minute detours. Behind the second row, you'll find genuinely useful cargo space, enough to swallow soccer bags, a stroller, a full grocery run, or the duffel bags for a long weekend away. Fold the seats down and you've got room for bikes, camping gear, or that Costco haul that never seems to fit anywhere else. The Taos SEL also comes loaded with driver-assist safety features that give parents real peace of mind, whether you're merging onto the highway or navigating school pickup traffic. This is a vehicle built for the rhythm of family life: reliable enough for daily errands, comfortable enough for cross-state adventures, and roomy enough that nobody's elbowing anyone in the back seat. Book it and get ready for a ride that keeps everyone happy, from the driver's seat to the way back.
